Ray Groble and the MGS team recently secured a summary judgment for a railroad client in a federal racial discrimination case. The railroad employee alleged that his employer discriminated against him based on his national origin in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He also alleged that the railroad unlawfully retaliated against him for voicing his complaints about that discrimination. Mr. Groble moved for summary judgment, and argued that the plaintiff’s claims were time barred, administratively unexhausted, and lacked merit. The court agreed with Mr. Groble’s argument and granted the motion for summary judgment in full.
