PLAINTIFF AGREES TO DISMISSAL OF CATASTROPHIC BURN CASE

Sean Sullivan defended Targa Resources in a catastrophic burn case arising out of an over-filled propane cylinder. Targa, one of the alleged manufacturers of the propane, was added as a third-party defendant on the ground the propane lacked sufficient odorant. Targa argued that plaintiff had failed to follow industry standards in obtaining and analyzing a sample of the subject propane prior to Targa being brought into the case, and had thereafter discarded the remaining propane. After Targa filed its motion to dismiss, plaintiff and third-party plaintiff agreed to the entry of a stipulated order dismissing all claims against Targa with prejudice.
